After a long pause with indoor sports due to the pandemic, we are thrilled to announce that Grimsby Smash is back!

Originally we hoped to secure a gym for regular season play but with restrictions it was not possible. Instead we will be organizing drop-in sessions with Dodgeball Niagara for anyone who wants to play. The next date will be Friday May 27th at 7:00 pm for a dodgeball tournament at 680 Van Wagners Beach Rd. Hamilton and the cost is $20 per person. You can register as a free agent or as a team. THIS EVENT IS SOLD OUT.

ABOUT

Dan & Andrea have been playing dodgeball for over 15 years and wanted to share our love for the sport with our hometown, Grimsby, Ontario. In 2018, we had the incredible opportunity to represent Team Canada at the World Dodgeball Cup in NYC at Madison Square Garden and again in 2019 in the Americas Continental Cup in Ontario, Canada. This year we will be training once again to compete in the Dodgeball World Championship in Edmonton this August.

There are many dodgeball leagues in our surrounding communities that play different rules and various styles of balls. Our league will be using the World Dodgeball Federation (WDBF) approved cloth dodgeballs and WDBF/EDF (European Dodgeball Federation) rules. To learn more about the game read the Rules found below.

Whether you are new to the sport or an advanced athlete, all you need is the desire to become great player. Just push your body to the limits in this fast-paced game. You'll use muscle you didn't know existed.
